2. A) Identify your chosen musical genre & B) say why you chose it.
A. I had hip-hip. B. I chose it because it is one of my favorite genres.



3. Describe your process...how did you go about finding your songs and information?
I looked up the history of hip hop on google and picked songs i liked and did the famous dances incorporated with the genre. 



4. What different kinds of technology did you use to compile your project? [Web tools, Mac tools, etc...]
I used easybib, zamzar, and the internet and i used garage band and imovie. 



5. What are you good at...what went well for you in this project?
I thought my garage band mix was good and i was good at mixing the songs.



6. With what did you struggle on this project...what was difficult for you?
It was hard lining up the video and the audio in iMovie.

7. Did you decide to use still slides? Why or why not?  [If not, how did you convey your information?
I put all my info in iMovie.

8. For what other classes, situations, uses could this type of project be adapted? 
It could be substituted for a powerpoint and used whenever you need to give a presentation. 

9. What new techniques or technology tools did you use in this project that you've never used before?  Be specific.
I have never used iMovie or garageband and they were the main tools for the project so it was good that I learned to use them. 




10. How did your project use the transformative property of borrowed images, music, and information to comply with the Copyright Law of 1976?[...not just that you cited the information, etc., but how did you transform the music, information, images, etc.?
I transformed videos and music on zamzar and put them on itunes and cited all my sources on easybib.com. 


11. Would you do another project like this on your own? Why? Why not?
Yes I would, because I feel comfortable with it now and like it.

PND Culture Movies Reflection

Earlier you had the opportunity to grade your teammates on the storyboard portion of this project. Now you will be examining your own performance as a team member.

A. To what degree did you work toward team goals? (Please explain your answer) 
Excellent, because I put in effort to make my project better


B. What specific tasks and duties did you perform as a member of this team?

I had to pick people to interview and ask the questions.

C. To what degree did you offer your gifts, talents, and time as a member of the team?
(Please explain your answer)
Excellent, because I worked well with the interviews and pictures and music.

D. To what degree did you take action as a member of the team?
(Please explain your answer)
Leader, because I think that I helped with the other group members.

E. What makes you most proud about your movie and why?
I think it was very entertaining and well put together. It made people laugh.


F. If you were going to make any changes to your movie, what would they be?

I would have less information and maybe make the interviews less shaky.

Movie Review Podcast Reflection

2. What tools and techniques did you use to create your podcast?
I used the internet, itunes, and garageband.

3.  How could you use a project like this in other classes?
I could make a podcast for a project.

4.  In the “real world,” how could podcast projects be used (In what careers/businesses, etc.)?
You could use it as a teacher to teach or as an advertiser to show people your products. 

5.  In this project, what did you get good at doing?
I learned how to make the timing right and add pictures and music to podcasts.

6. What was the most difficult part of the assignment?
 The hardest part was recording my voice right and putting it all together.

7. How did your project use the transformative property of borrowed images, music, and information to comply with the Copyright Law of 1976? 
[...not just that you cited the information - citing is not enough...tell me how you transformed what you've taken into something new, etc., How did you transform the music, information, images, etc.?
I converted my song  on zamzar, put it on itunes, and inserted it into my podcast. I took my pictures, cited them on easybib, and put them in my podcast.

8.  Would you do a project like this on your own?  
Maybe if i wanted to do something for someone, like put a slideshow of pictures together  as a gift or something, then i would.

9. If you were going to make any changes/improvements on your podcast what would it/they be?  ...and why?
I would make my voice sound better, and add more pictures and clips.

iPhoto name

I typed in "letter k" or whatever letter i needed to find, so images of that letter would come up.

3. What skills did you use/learn in this project?
I learned how to make a slideshow, export it, and add music.

4. Describe how you might use these skills and apply them to a real-world situation.
I could use these skills to make a slideshow in the future.

5. This was a more creative project than our first 2. Did you prefer it or the more cut and dry assignments in Word and Excel?
I liked this assignment the best, it let us be creative and express ourselves in the project.

I got the music off of iPhoto and I got some of my pictures off of the internet.  I put the link into easyBib and cited my sources.

Charity Letter & Mail Merge - Reflection

2. My business was Yoplait Yogurt and the charity was Race for the Cure.

3. I told them a statistic about breast cancer.

4. I learned how to merge the letter and add contacts.

5. The easiest part was adding a picture. The hardest was placing the things for the merge.

6. When I am older and have to write letters for my job, I could use this skill to tell many people about something quicker.

7. I did not know how to merge, I learned how to do that in my project.

4.I learned how to add my numbers together on excel and to make things from a table to a graph or pie chart.

5. I changed the colors of my pie chart to match the color of the word.

6. It could help me with surveys or other charts or graphs I would need to make for school or fun in the future.
